Looking for some advice on 5.1.2 placement

Hello guys, I'll keep this shortish. I'm looking for advice on best ceiling speaker placement. The internet is full of it but most of them assume a centre sofa position with equal space both sides, including Dolby's own website.

I'm adding a pair of C165 T2's for Atmos. Included a mockup of my room layout with approx dimensions (the french doors on the left is actually open plan to another room).
I've placed the ceiling speakers in the photo in what would be the easiest place for me to add them based on the room layouts on floor above, but I'm open to everyone's advice. The red blocks are my 5.1 MA Bronze's with Bronze FX at the back sides.

The left ceiling speaker in mockup is 4'5ft from back wall and 15 inches from left wall. Two squares in this plan is approx 1ft.

All advice listened to and greatly appreciated

How tall is the ceiling? Looks good from here. Only I might move them in just a tad depending on the ceiling height.

Ceiling is 8ft.

Which direction do you mean when you say "in a tad"?
I was thinking in. Toward each other. Many of the diagrams and older literature show to like them up with the mains. Problem is, if the speaker doesn’t have wide enough dispersion, or the ceiling is too low then can’t phantom image between each other. Since you are only going with .2 it’s important not to have the angle between them too far.
Actually if I did the math right, you’d want them about 5’ apart. Assuming I read your diagram right, that’s about where they’re at.
The only thing really freaking me out is that right surround way off in the corner lol. Personally I’d consider getting a speaker stand and mounting a 4x4 on top and attaching the speaker to that at the edge of the couch.
I’m sick though…lol

Cheers mate. I would love the right speaker to come in but a divorce would cost me to much.
