Looking for rug recommendation for Center speaker reflection or similar

Hi!
So I ordered a cheap low pile carpet to lower the projector light reflection on the floor:

But I would like to add some thicker material where the reflection of the center speaker is in relation to my main chair. Any suggestions on what to use?
This is an unfinished basement btw so while the walls have all insulation material without drywall yet, the floor is just concrete.

Just get yourself a good pad to put underneath it. Also remember that the floor bounce from your mains is just as important to treat.

I’m certain there are way more expensive things to pursue, if you wanted…
I think I saw a video where the discussion involved building a small pit into the floor that was filled with a couple inches of foam and had a perforated screen on top so you could walk on it…

…seems a bit extreme.

Maybe when I am finishing the basement I will get a bit more creative lol
