Hi all.
I hope this is the right place to post this, but I'm looking for suggestions on how to best set up the audio/video in my family room. A quick diagram of the room is at http:/ img87.imageshack.us/img87/8529/roomfo9.gif (you'll have to add the missing "/" because I can't post a legit link).
The furniture is not set, but the orientation is. My TV right now is a 42" Panasonic plasma. On either side of the TV is a french door that leads out to the back yard.
My biggest concern right now is what kind of speakers to get and where to place them. My budget is tight, and I'd like to spend less than $2K on this. Are in-wall speakers a viable option at all at this price point? Especially for the rear speakers? If so, how should they be mounted?
Any help would be greatly appreciated. I've really just started thinking about this and am open to any suggestions. Is there anything else I should be considering?
If it helps, I'm remodeling and have full access to the walls.
Thanks,
-Mark
