I bought a pair of JBL 4311B's back in 1980. I used them with a Dynaco St-120 and Pat-4 for years, but as the family grew and other things came up, they got neglected. I have decided to resurrect the old audio setup and will start with the speakers. The cabinets are in great shape and the speakers look okay. I am a bit worried about the condition of the crossover due to age. Are there any recommendations for replacement parts fro the crossovers? Thanks

Do they still sound fine? I have an old pair of 4311Bs, work great still. There's a "technical manual" available on hifiengine.com....

I haven't tried them in about 5 years. The Dynaco amp started sounding strange, so. I stopped using it. I have an old Pioneer receiver that I bought before the JBL's (about 43 years ago), but I'm not brave enough to connect it to the JBLs. I guess I should invest in a new amplifier.

If they work, they work....don't have to connect the speakers right away :)
