I have a pro cinema sub 100 and a pair of bipolar BP 1X speakers NBA pro cinema Pro sub 100. I have kept these stored for better years and I want to use it. The Pro sub sounds great but the bipolar speakers need some power to push them what amp should I be looking for. My receiver is also very old it is a Yamaha RX V 890.

From what I can tell, the Deftech speakers have a slightly higher-than-average sensitivity rating, which means it takes less power to drive them than less sensitive speakers. The RX-V890 has 100 watts per channel, which should be more than enough to get all the volume you want.

I would think that amp should have plenty of power, HOWEVER you could always try using the preamp outputs to an external 2-channel amp with some more oomph and see if that gets you the results you're looking for. I've had great luck with Emotiva if you want good bang for the buck power to throw at something.
