Looking for ANY help on Whole House Sound

Could some of you kind souls give me some sort of guidance as to where I might look for some concise information as to what is needed for a whole house audio solution?

I'm not a techie and would appreciate something like the "Idiots Guide To Whole House Sound" along with some reviews for equipment that might be needed.

I assume I'll need to "hire" someone to put this together; I'd just like to know a little more about what might be needed for a 6 zone system that would play MP3s, CD/DVDs.

Since you are looking to power six zones of audio throughout your house, you are going to need a different setup than your average person who might run 2 or 3 different zones. These links will get you started in the right direction though. Where do you live? You may be able to check it with some A/V installers in your area. Is your house already built or are you trying to integrate this into the current plans?
