Looking for a subwoofer to complete my setup

I have a Pioneer VSX-519V-K and looking for a subwoofer to finish off my setup. The room is about 20x16 with 12 foot ceilings and hardwood floor. I have good loudspeakers that give decent midrange bass but looking for something for the really low frequencies. Prefer to stay around $200 but I am willing to spend more to not get a POS. Thanks!

Hmm how would I go about hooking up 2 subs? There is one LFE port out of the receiver.

I don't usually recommend a Polk sub of any kind, but this one is decent for the money:

You would have to up your budget just $50 and you will get a 12" sub with a full 300 watts rms amp in a nice real wood veneered finish. There are also 68 user reviews resulting in 5-star ratings. That is quite impressive in and of itself. I have heard this sub on many occasions and it really is a decent sub for the money. Sure, there are others better but you usually have to pay for it too. Good luck in making your decision. Many like the Dayton subs that are within your specified budget.

Cheers,

Phil
