I've not heard the Outlaw subs, but based on the reviews, I think it's a logical choice to go with the LFM-2. Beautiful cabinet, and most likely the perfect addition for the musical punch you may be missing with the LFM-1. How does the LFM-1 compare to your previous sub?

BTW, I find the specs on each sub a little strange. How can the smaller 8" LFM-2 go down to 28Hz at -2dB while the larger 12" LFM-1 only goes down to 25Hz at -2dB? Either that's an outstanding little 8", or they aren't giving the 12" enough credit. There should be a mountain of difference between the two. Just compare the cabinet size, and weight.

what about this?

Try looking at the Titanic from parts express. You build it your self, very easy to do, but it is very good...~ 350...

One thing to note: two subs are harder to calibrate than one.

I'm awfully pleased with my Hsu STF-1 (as noted in other posts). $299 + 25 bucks shipping. It's tidy and small, punchy, musical, and offers usable bass down to 26db (starts rolling off at 31.5).

I also agree with J Garcia...two subs will give you some obstacles to overcome.

Stacking should give you less issues, but you still have to calibrate both.
