Looking for a good rock concert -

I would like to see something live or even docu-video like queensryche's video mindcrime. I would like something in DVD-A/V. If I am not mistaken, this is a DVD with DVD-A soundtrack? Mixed in DVD-A format? If I am wrong about what a DVD-A/V is, please correct me.

Anyway .. can anyone recomend a good rock show, and provide a link? Or even a link to a site that has a large selection of DVD-A and SACD disks.

Pink Floyd - Dark Side of the Moon (SACD)
Eagles - Hell Freezes Over (believe this is DTS)

There's also a new David Gilmour live DVD coming out...
Standing in the Shadows of Motown

I know there are others out there...

Nine Inch Nails And All That Could Have Been Full bitrate DTS

DSoTM isn't live, but it is an excellent mulitchannel SACD.

I considered both of these but thought they were just audio disks. Are the Video as well?

Unless you are a big Eagles fan skip Hell Freezes Over. It is sonically an amazing DTS soundtrack, if it doesn't put you to sleep first. Yes it's video with a DTS soundtrack. If you are not sure rent it.

For something more lively check out Brian Setzer Live In Japan. It's got a DTS soundtrack and really rocks. His rockabilly sound mixed with the swing band really works, for me at least.

I'm not aware of any DVD videos of concerts with a DVD-A soundtrack although that sounds like a great idea. If you find some please post a link to them.

I have to second Hell Freezes Over, one of the best concert DVDs I have heard. And on my copy it is DTS. I think I heard something about a release in DD as well but I could be wrong.

I REALLY, really enjoy the Eric Clapton, in concert, "One more car, one more rider" DVD in DTS! Turned in up! This was a recommened one from several Audioholics, and I immediatly went and purchased from Amazon. $9.99, can't go wrong if you like Clapton, I also ordered the 2 disc CD for the car. One of my favorites is "Have you ever loved a women". To me, the blues really shine on this disc. Center your favorite chair, sit and back and turn it up.

It comes in both DTS CD and DVD. As mentioned, this year I believe, they released a Dolby 5.1 version as well, but I'd still opt for the DTS version. If you don't at least like the Eagles, I'd have to agree, it may not be for everyone. IMO the surrounds are a bit too aggressive, but overall it is a very good disc.

Staind - Unplugged. If you like them, this is a great disc.

The Metallica S&M (Metallica + San Fransisco Symphony Orchestra) is a great mix. I rented it a few months ago and was very impressed. I can't seem to find it anywhere for sale though. :(

Cool, they're doing both Soundgarden and RAtM songs too. I'll have to pick that one up probably. I didn't get a chance to catch them when they were here, so the DVD will have to do.
