My current Yamaha RX-V730 is getting pretty tired. I was wondering if anyone can suggest the current model that has replaced it. I would like to order something that would be easy for me to directly install in place of my current receiver. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks!

How do you know it is getting tired, does it sleep a lot?:D

Anyway, the RX-V750 or 757 may be closer to your 730 but I doubt you can find a new one of those. Why not just bite the bullet and get the newer model such as the 775 for less than $600?

Depends on what your budget is. The newest model in that line is the RX-V777. I've been looking in that general price tier. I am waiting around for a bit as I would expect that the Denon X4000 will drop in price once the 4100 is released. Might be worth a look. But if you're trying to stick with the familiar you've always got the Yamaha 757-777 series AVR's that you could probably find new.
