I'm looking for a nice self-contained PA system, for general outdoor music listening with friends and maybe small gatherings (beaches, forests and whatnot)
I'm based in the UK and although I originally set out with a max of £100 (I'm on a tight budget), the only item I've found that really fills all my requirements is the
Carlsbro Wanderer Plus, at almost twice the price, and perhaps a little bulkier than I would have liked (lugging it around could be a pain at 44lbs).
Something like the
Pyle PWMA230 would probably work for me, but I think shipping to the UK would cost me about $200 and that's just ridiculous for a $100 product, and I can't find them for sale anywhere in the UK.
Any advice or alternatives would be very much appreciated, thanks!
Edit: I'd also be interested to know what the logistics would be for buying spare/replacement battery packs for a device like this - costs involved, where I'd find them for sale, etc.
