Well, I am the proud owner of a TSU3000 Philips Pronto NG....sadly I can't figure out squat as far as building my dream user interface.

I keep hosing over pages and such....last fun one was the system page with pretty buttons that didn't really do anything.

Are there any good guides out there, free or pay that cover ProntoEdit NG well?

...yep, my old RatShack Kameleon is going away...time to go from a toy to a serious remote.

Thanks!

It took me about a day to really get how the pronto software works. Its quite a bit different than the URC suite. I found the easiest way to program our 3000 and 7000 was by doing some stuff on the computer and some stuff on the remote itself. Once I started making my own layout by adding in buttons and just copy pasting alot for each device i got the hang of it down pretty good. I do like the fact I can make changes on the remote itself vs having to plug it back into a computer like the Universals

Thanks folks....well I have started to get things right.

I guess the hardest part of this is task-orientation. The one-touch system power finally works as intended now that I figured out my Samsung TV from hell requires one power signal for ON, but TWO for OFF (go figure). Fortunately two for ON works just as well as one...so there we go.

Now the hard part....making the task buttons work as intended. I need some discrete codes for the inputs of a Samsung TX-P2730 TV set (Namely Component in, tuner, and S-Video). I am scouring remote central as I am typing this....if any of you folks have these codes, I will be rather grateful.

Thanks again!

I have a 9600, and it took me a little while to get the idea of how it all works, but I always seem to have to tweak it some more...

It an amazing product with the ability to have some intense expansion in the short future... Good Luck with your programming... take you time, and it will come to you...

Linking, and shortcuts a weird at first but you'll get the hang of it...

Warp out !!!!
