looking for a B&W ASW 675

A lightning strike took out one of my B&W ASW 675's. It just doesn't power up anymore. It's not the fuse and a repair bill would likely equal the cost of a used unit. So if anyone know's where to find another, I'm looking. Found a couple on Craigslist but the sellers will not ship or drop 'em off at a UPS store. Thanks!

IMO, a SVS SB-1000 would represent a good replacement. It might take a long time before you find a used B & W ASW675 in good working order at a decent price.

Thanks. I was also looking at the svs-sb2000. It just pricy when you buy subs by the pairs, and anything new. Already spent a small junk on new surge protectors. :). I'm keeping an eye on hifishark for hopefully something state side sold for what it's actually worth. Unfortunately, B&W is out of parts and will not service it.

Surge Protectors are $69 bucks.

I use a nice furman 215 on my main gear. Worked like a charm. The problem is you need a whole house protector or at least something on every outlet that interconnected devices may live on. Lightning has a mind of its own when finding ground and what goes and doesn't can be like the lottery.

I'd take it as a sign to upgrade :) or maybe put an old amp to use....
