Looking for 7.1 Channel Speaker Set

Hello

I recently purchased a Pioneer VSX-1019AH-K and am looking for speakers to compliment it.

Currently, I am using old JBL Left/Rights, along with very old off-brand Center/Surrounds, and a Yamaha Subwoofer.

I have been browsing the different Klipsch series but am ultimately undecided.

I plan on purchasing an entire set, although, not all at once. Maybe 1 or 2 pieces every month.

Price Range: $200-$400 Per Speaker

Any and all advice is appreciated.

Try to give a listen to Infinity's Primus P362 towers. The Audioholics Store has them for $200 shipped and they have the matched PC350 center for the same price.

Just keep in mind that a good subwoofer (depending on room size) could wind up costing as $400-1000 or more. It just depends on total room size (in cubic feet) and how much bass you want.

you can easily meet your goal by starting out with the Infinity Primus series, the Polk Monitor series, or the Klipsch "10" series (RF10 towers and RC10 center, and RS10 surrounds)

Is there a preferred site to purchase the above mentioned series? What is the differences in quality between those three lines?

I have been browsing Newegg.com but it seems they only have a couple lines to select from.

Thanks for information guys.

The Audioholics Store has a pretty good price on the Infinity Primus series speakers although once in a while Frys has a great price. The Polk Monitor 60s and 70s are usually cheapest at Newegg.com but only when they have them on sale. I'd watch the deal sites (Bensbargains.net and Fatwallet.com) for sales and coupon codes. Vanns.com has pretty good prices on the Klipsch RF10. Speakers are very-very subjective and all three brands have their followers but most here agree that the Infinities are exceptional for their price class.

For subwoofers I'd have the internet direct specialists size something to fit the room. You best sources for subs are Elemental Designs, Epik, Hsu Research, and SVSounds.
