I have seen reviews of the higher end Hifiman headphones on the forum. I was wondering about the HE-400s Planer Magnetic Headphones. I am looking at the HE-400s because they do not require a lot of power to use them. I would be able to listen to them through my smart phone, Sony STR-DN840 receiver and the Hifiman HM-700.
The Hifiman HM-700 with the RE-600 IEM's that I have sound great.
I am currently using a pair of Audio-Technica ATH-M50x's
I was curious to hear what people have to say about the HIFIMAN HE-400s selling for around $300.00 and if I am going to hear an improvement over the ATH-M50's.
I have had Magnapan speakers in the past and was very happy with the sound and technology.
