Long speaker cable or long DVI cable

Due to the placement of my projector, I can either have long speaker cable and short DVI cable or vice versa.

Which way should one use?

Always go with long speaker cables over long interconnect or video cables (especially DVI). I recommend using 10AWG speaker cable to minimize resistive losses.

I like the cosemtic appearance of River Cable StarFlex. Do you think that it is suitable for long run?

The Starflex is in fact their best cable even though the Flexygy 6 is more expensive. Yes it is an excellent cable for long runs. It is more expensive than ordinary 10AWG Zip cord, but it does have slightly lower inductance, much nicer appearance and excellent compression banana terminations.
