Lol WILL THIS WORK?

I want to hook up my laptop to a subwoofer to a BOSE series 2 sounddock.

I'm going to use 3.5mm to RCA to put low level input into the sub from my laptop. And then I'm going to use RCA to 3.5mm to put low level output from my subwoofer to my bose sounddock (which takes a 3.5mm cable).

So basically what I'm saying is that I need a subwoofer with low level input and low level output.

Does this subwoofer have that? :

I can't really tell... all of the low level input/outputs I have seen are colour coded. This one has "Input from preamp, output to amp" which seems to be the same as what I need?

Is this the same as low level input/output? (Those 4 connections under phase).

I'd experiment at this point and see what happens. It sounds to me like it should do the trick. Experimentation is one of the best ways to learn.
