I've spotted this remote on sale for $129.00 Cdn and at few stores in my vacinity. I looked on the web page and I'm pleased to find out that it does macros. Does anyone have this remote? Do you like it? If so why, if so why not? Any big limitations you see with the device? Any input is appreciated. Thanks

I have their 659 and it's just ridiculous. Programming is brain-dead simple to get started. I spent all of 5 minutes entering my model numbers, and it pretty much did the rest automatically. I've spent the better part of a week tweaking it just the way I wanted it though.

The one-button macros are even set up automatically after you answer a few questions. If you're in TV mode and go to movie mode, it automatically changes my receiver's input, turns off the cable box, and turns on the dvd player.

My girlfriend loves it even more than I do.

I got the 520 for my birthday. In general, I love it. It has replaced the ugly pile of remotes that we had before.

I only have one small complaint, and it seems amazingly trivial. The buttons on the remote make a tactile "click" when you press them. For most of the buttons it would be fine to have the feedback. However, when you are surfing the channels, the constant click, click, click of the up channel and down channel buttons is anoying.

Otherwise, I have been really pleased -- even delighted. One of my favorite features that I didn't expect is that when you get close to it in the dark it senses your presence and lights up! How cool is that?
