This has a 6.5" subwoofer... will that limit it? I have an approx 2000 cubic feet room.

Those Sets have fairly loud SPL levels. I think it should be alright in that roomm.

However, it won't perform at the same level as a wooden box loudspeaker system.

i bought these speakers for my friends computer that i built.

they sound pretty good for computer speakers. not a very big sweet spot, and still a little difficult to set up the rear speakers, but the sub is pretty nice.

and the features are nice. definately worth 300 bucks, which is what it cost.

2000 cubic feet is a big room, it will work ok for ht but.. its not going to fill it like a real system. but if you only have a budget of 300 bucks then thats probobly one of the best options.

Just somethink to keep in mind for wireless speakers...you have to have a power outlet for each speaker/wireless module handy. If not, you're better off getting wired speakers.
