Logitech z-5500 v. Philips HTR5000/98

I read several rave review about the logitech z-5500's and the best price i could get them for in India is around USD 400. At nearly half that price, philips offers a HTIB <model no. HTR5000/98> with what seems to be comparable wattage for half that price.
