So I want to burn my entire CD collection to my new NAS in apple lossless format. My macbook does not have an internal drive and the external apple drive is I have so sooo slow.
Can anyone recommend a drive that is durable (I have 500 CDs) and can load fast (40x?) that won't break the bank?
The goal is to have my music (CD quality) accessible anywhere in the house (without regard to my laptop being on or off) and to get the job done before I reach retirement age.
