Little Upgrade

So its been a while since I last posted but I have been pretty busy (new baby, new house).

After some begging, the financial committee approved a upgrade for the media room. I was finally able to get rid of my "bass box" (old Sony HTiB sub) that pretty much sounded like a farting elephant with this new toy: EP500 w/ Walnut finish.

I gotta say this thing shakes everything within 30 ft of it. After nailing down everything that I could it simply blows away anything I have heard before. Wife is not to happy as she didnt think it would be so big but after watching a few movies she is pretty impressed.

I see the picture lookin nice... the sony looks totally dwarfed

The only thing that puits me off from axiom is their choice of stock finishes, but otherwise they have some mighty stuff!

I would think an elephant farting would present some tasking LFE, so either that's one damn impressive Sony HTIAB subwoofer, or I need to hang around the zoo long enough to sonically measure an elephant fart.
