You mean one of those little cards like in my Canon digital camera?! Are these lossless formatts? Two channel? Im interested. Is there a slot in the front to put the card in for viewing pictures and vid clips? Cool.
Yeah, it's one of those little Secure Digital (SD) cards that you use in most digital cameras.
It's WMA (Windows Media Audio), so I don't think it's lossless. For example, Eagles' Hotel California is 6.9MB in size.
Since the new Denon receivers (5308, 4308, etc.) are Vista compatible and have USB ports, I bet they can play those Lossless and Uncompressed Audio Formats.
It's 2Ch like CDs. But I don't think the BD player w/ the SD card can play Lossless formats.
Yes, there is a slot in the Front of the BD player for viewing JPEG pictures. I have not tried any video clips.
I can't tell any difference at all between the WMA music from the SD card compared to high quality 2.0 CDs like Eagles' Hell Freezes Over CD.
