I need to add a small simple speaker in my bathroom connected to my TV (Audio Out) for news listening. Where Can I buy a module to act as an amplifier between Tv (Audio Out) and speaker

Welcome to the forum!

You can buy speakers that already have amplifiers in them (known as "active" speakers), or you could get a relatively inexpensive amp like you asked about.

Do you have a preference? We can give you examples of both. It would help to know what your budget is. Thanks.

EDIT: Also, is the TV near where you want to place the speaker? Would a wireless speaker be a good choice?

Bathroom audio

I have a small bathroom and installed a single in-ceiling speaker with dual tweeters for stereo playback as part of a whole house audio system. If you have a larger bathroom, a pair of in-celing speakers might be more appropriate. Install a volume control in the wall and use a small stereo amplifier (Audiosorce or similar) to drive them.

If you have a laptop and a slingbox you can not only listen to, but watch the news.

To make this happen youll need a wireless computer network in your home, and a slingbox.

Just a thought.
