Andrew Jones is a living legend in speaker design. He has been the designer for many of the premium speakers for KEF and Infinity (to name just a couple). He is now working for Pioneer, having designed most of their TAD reference speakers and recently took on the atypical project of Pioneer's least expensive speakers!
This podcast was already linked at AH, but it was buried in the middle of a thread on the Pioneer FS52 series speakers.
It is a pretty long interview, but there are places where he talks about measurements and design which I believe would be very interesting and educational for anyone looking at DIY. Enjoy!

I wish the video didn't start out quite so slow and so much in the abstract (though I enjoyed that part as well).
For anyone who is very impatient, I might suggest starting the video at ~19:00 where he starts talking about driver dispersion/beaming and concentric driver design.
