LG Electronics has launched it's 6th generation chipset in anticipation of it's 2008 television line up. The "super-advanced" chipset, which is to be incorporated not only in televisions, but digital to analog converter boxes is a spearheaded move by LG to remain ahead of the pack in the looming broadcast signal changeover.
