I just purchased this ED plasma from futureshop in canada for 1899. I compared this model with LG's Hd model and couldn't see any difference. I also compared to panasonics EDTV, with i really wanted to get, but this picture was just plain better. I even compared it to panny's HD model and I think I would have chosen this model over the panny, regardless of price. Comes with 2 year warranty. I also looked at the sony 42" RPTV, but didn't really compare in my books. I don't get the tv until tomorrow, so i will let you know a little more once i get it hooked up and tested. Hope this helps the people like me who want a great tv, but can't afford the 3-4000 price.
