LFE connection

Hello,

I've recently purchased a Polk Audio RM6900 system and a Harmon Kardon AVR 235 a/v receiver. Polk's manual suggests letting its subwoofer handle bass management, while HK suggests using the LFE connection.

I use the system for both audio and video. Any suggestions on which method is better? To my untrained ear, the LFE connection is superior, but I don't know much about which xover frequencies are correct.

I'd definately use the LFE & connect the speakers directly to the reciever...and not go through the sub
