Hi All,

I'm looking for a univeral player and was wondering how these Universal players stack up. Will be used strickly for Audio and very minimal video as I have a BH200 already. Are there any other univ players I should consider around this price point?

Thanks

The Arcam is a better unit in my opinion. I think you should look at Accuphase, Linn and Meridian if you are going to buy a Very hi end player....

Thanks! The reason why I was asking is because I know that Lexicon is liquidating the RT-20 because they're making may for a bluray player. It can be had for around 1.5k where as the Arcam is not on sale but can be had for about the same price used or demo. I'll look into the other players as well:)

I just replaced my Marantz DV7600 universal player with the Lexicon RT20. With the liquidation price's it made it worthwhile for me to do. I love the way you can set the RT20 to a pure mode so that it is analog out and shuts down all video related circuits when you play CD's. I am very impressed with the player so far.

Being a big Marantz fan I was also happy to find it is based on a DV9500 for the video side of things. So again a step up for me.
