Any opinions/experience regarding the lexicon with it's 24 delta sigma DAC, one AD and one DA, compared to the 24/92(2805, generic?) or the 24/192 Burr Brown(3805), 2 for each channel. My interest is only as a pre/pro and only for movies, no music. I use a Circle Surround processor with the DC2 in addition to Logic 7 to get 2 surround rear channels so the additional PLIIx would add nothing new.
It may seem anathema to think that any reciever could compete with a lexicon DC2, but this is 1999 technology compared with 2004 technology at a lower street price no less!!
