I just purchased a great album today that I'd like to recommend to everyone here. If you are fans of Earth, Wind, & Fire, Steely Dan, older Spyro Gyra, or jazz-funk slap bass grooves, you'll really like Level 42.

If you're old enough to remember, Level 42's big hit of 1985 "Something To Remember" brings back memories of my childhood. Hearing this song on the radio again drew me to hear their other hits. The latest news is they have a new album due to be released sometime this year. In 2002 the UK band got back together for a series of concert tours.

So far, my favourite songs on the album:
Something About You
Tracie
Children Say
Chinese Way

Hello

I'm a good fan of the 80's and surely have a best off from Level 42. Many good songs but "It's Over" is one the most sweet tracks they ever done.

Cheers.

Level 42 is one of my favorites. I got hold of an old VHS "Fait Accompli" which features Alan Murphy on guitars (Go West, anybody???). My favorites songs, besides the ones you mentioned are "Sleepwalkers", "Staring at the sun" "Gresham Blues" and "Overtime" among others.
