Leslie Nielson passes away at 84

A Canadian comedica actor whose humour will be sadly missed. He played in such movies, as Naked Gun series and Airplane and according to Wikipedia, a whole lot more than I realized. Rest in peace Leslie.

May he rest in peace. IMNSHO, he'll be best remembered for his later years when he found his niche comedies. ...not to slight "Forbidden Planet", another landmark movie.

Did you know that his brother, Erik, was an MP for about 30 years? He served in Clark's and Mulroney's cabinets, and was Deputy PM for a couple of years.

Leslie was a brilliant straight man. Too bad it took so long for him to find his niche. He will be missed.

Very sorry to see him pass away. Sure was very funny imho. One of my favorite lines was when he said "nice beaver" in Naked Gun as also mentioned up above. My heart goes out to all of his family and friends. RIP!
