Length of signatures

I like the idea of signatures, and it's cool to have your gear listed, but when there are 15 items listed and they all are in normal font size, that's 2-3 inches of screen space that we all have to scroll past everytime you post. Kind of annoying. Is there any limit (I guess not)? This would only affect a handful of users here, and no regulars I can think of have terribly long sigs, so at least it's only an occasional annoyance. It's just an idea.

There is a Character limit, but not a length limit.

If you want to list your gear, go horizontally. Or better yet, make a system thread, and then link it through your signature.

Yeah, I personally find it a bit irritating when people list everything they have in their signature. Some boards have it set so that a persons signature only shows up once per page per thread, But i dont think thats the best idea as long as people keep it down to a minimum.

How does one go about setting up a link to their equipment?
Or putting it on one or two lines?

Just list it horizontally or better yet go to Photobucket, set up a free account and show us some pictures. Just provide the Photobucket link under your sig.
