LED bulbs and color temperature and hue

Do the light from all 3000K LEDs with same CRI look identical/similar independent of manufacturer? I cannot find PAR 16 60 watt and 75 watt equivalent (eq) bulb from the same maker.

Background - I have a room with 6 PAR 16 fixtures with 60 watt halogen bulbs on a dimmer, installed nearly 18 years ago. Four point to the floor and two shine on a 6'x6' wall hanging. I am contemplating to changing 4 bulbs to 60 watt eq LEDs and the 2 shining in the wall hanging to 75 watt eq. to accentuate it. All the bulbs will still be dimmed from the same dimmer. There is no easy way to separate the circuits.

If it has the same number (3000K) then the hue should be the same but I can't discount different manufacturers using different LEDs and having slight variations in the spectrum. Best measure is to use the same Kelvin rating as opposed to "daylight" or "warm white". If you change from halogen to LED you may need to upgrade the dimmer as well. I switched from halogen to LED in my kitchen pot lights (Par 30) and on some track lighting (Par 20 Capsylite) and am very happy with the result. The Par 30 bulbs did not last as long as I expected, but the Par 20 have yet to burn out.

I probably wouldn't expect even the same brand/rating to be all that consistent.

You will need to replace the dimmers for sure. LED lights always need different dimmers. I went through this when I converted our former lake home to LED. I had to replace all the dimmers.

I had similar issues with light color and weird tints in my room. It turned out that the type of fixture made a difference too. My aplique de pared had a frosted cover that made the bulb look warmer than it really was, even though the bulb said 5000K. Swapping to a clear one helped the color show more accurately. Maybe check the fixture's influence too.
