Guy's
I don't think this is an issue and I did a search and couldn't find anything to the point. I left my gear on somehow since Saturday morning. Is there any harm in doing so except seeing a spike in my Elec bill???
Thanks
It was the P5 Pre, ATI Amp, and Grotto sub.

Eh, not really much to worry about.

I would be a bit nervous about leaving the sub on that long, simply due to the nature of the plate amps in most subs, seems that those are more likely to fail catastrophically.

I doubt that you caused any harm. If anything, just maybe you took a few hours of useful lifetime off the gear.

Down here in the deep south in the dog days of summer, I sure as heck don't want to forget to turn off my amp! My parasound 1206 puts off quite a bit of heat and 100+ degree temps are the norm every day. That much heat in a small room is noticeable, and my AC has to work harder to cool down the room.

Thanks. If I ever left my Primaluna HP Integrated on that long, you could cook eggs on it...:D
It's hard to use that thing in the summer as it heats up my room a tremendous amount.

I left my A51 A21 on for a weekend by accident along with my Pre/Pro, nothing to worry about there. My A51 gets plenty warm, but it usually stays pretty calm if there is no sound being generated. Plus you have the rack shelf with excellent ventilation.

Would be nice if these had an automatic turn off option like my Marantz gear. I Really appreciate all my Japan made Marantz gear. Wish they made affordable pre-pro and amp.

Solid state amps don't operate in class A mode draw very little electricity in idle. Doesn't that sub have an auto on/auto off feature that reacts to an input signal?
