LCR Speaker Bar Help

Looking for advice on a LCR speaker bar. This looks to be my best bet for the room it is going in since the boss is not a fan of the large speakers. Here is what I have found for this type. Budget is about 1000. Pairing with a Marantz NR1603.

Martin Logan Motion SLM X3
KEF HTF8003
Klipsch Gallery G42
Definitive Mythos XTR-SSA3

Am liking the slimness of the DT and ML but have read that with them being so slim, the way they do L/R is by some kind of delay. Some notice some don't. Be nice to try these out so I can determine myself but no place in my area has these on display. Order only. Thoughts?

Thank you.

Your receiver limits you to a 2.1 preout, so you will not be able to use any passive sound bar designed to cover 3 channels of front LCR.

The only one that would work is the KEF. So there, I made it nice n easy for ya :)

And fair warning, the forum mods don't like seeing repeat posts for the same topic!

Yep, I know...posts...

Why would I go through the Preout and not the normal L/C/R? Each sounder is designed for just that?

I'm sorry, I'm too used to the active models! Thought I found the quick n easy answer to your question!

No worries. I didn't know these existed either until I started looking.

Lol!

Personally, I feel $1k is a bit much to spend on any sound bar. I know most of these options are below that, so I might also suggest starting there.

Amazon is your friend when it comes to auditioning speakers ;-)

Why is that? Simply because you can return them?

Looking at reviews it seems the Klipsch has the highest. ML is still new I believe so no real reviews out there. The similar XL model rated really high which uses the same speakers I believe. At this point leaning towards one of these. Is it worth double the price to get the ML....not sure.

I rather enjoyed some of the ML Motion series speakers I heard with their folded tweeters. But I doubt those exact tweeters are being offered in a sound bar, especially, with 3 of them. So in that light, and my own bias of spending that much money on a sound bar, I'd knock out the ML, or at least wait until there's a discount available.

The others, yes, take advantage of the ability to return stuff. I hear Jeff Bezos made $55 Billion last year alone.... lol!
