Folks, got to see this film last night. From the get go, I found it to be rather interesting. My attention never swayed. From that perspective, that is really saying a lot.

The acting was superb imho. There was lots of action and suspense. Just when you think you have it all figured out, a new twist develops. One of those films that keep you guessing and on the edge of your seat so to speak. The audio effects were done very well imho.

All in all, I would have to give this film a solid B/B+. This is mainly due to the great acting and a great story-line that never left be feeling bored. Heck, the ending was actually decently done. Something that seems to be in short supply these days. This is one of those films that I consider to be a good choice. Hence, if you feel up to catching a movie, you might want to consider seeing this one!

Meh, it was ok. That's why I never posted anything on it. Good popcorn flick I guess. The plot was predictable, and I felt the resolution at the end was flawed, but the guy did some pretty badass stuff. I probably won't get it when it comes out on BR.

Thanks for posting. I agree it was a bit predictable. But overall, I enjoyed it. BTW, I was tearing that popcorn up when I was watching-how did you know........Lmao?????? It sure was good.

Popcorn makes even the worst movies bearable. When the wife drags me to one of those "deep feelings" movies. I increase the popcorn and soft drink size. I also believe that Yellow Salt has an antidepressant in it.

LOL.....all very good points. However, the plot kept me focused which is saying a lot believe you me. No really, in spite of it being somewhat predictable, I found it to be really entertaining. BTW, I may just go buy some of that yellow salt............Lmao!!!!!!

LOL...........I see. Well, I will keep this in mind. Hope to catch a few movies over the weekend if everything pans out. Of course, there is also a chance it won't. Flexibility is paramount around my house.

So far anything with Jamie Foxx has been top notch. I can't imagine not liking this film. I guess if Mr. 300 would spit the marbles out of his mouth and get that palsy seen to he would be more believable in his role ... nah, just kidding. I have to run him down cause my girl thinks he's cute.

I thought this was a B/B+ movie with a D ending. It went too far with the --spoiler alert-- tunnels into the jail. I'm very willing to suspend disbelief for this kind of flick, but that was too much.

Definitely some solid acting and good story line. Worth watching, but could have been a bunch better.

Alex I agree that Jamie Foxx is a great actor. For one thing, he picks his roles carefully. As such, makes it easier for him to blend into them. At least, that is my observation.

So very true. A lot of endings today seem to be nothing more than a flop. As far as this film goes, the ending did leave much to be desired. However, at times the film was shocking and Jamie Foxx really played it out well.
