I have been trying to connect my Toshiba laptop to my Sony Bravia tv. It shows the picture but it is dim, and black and white. I have played with all the settings I could find on the laptop and the tv with no luck. I have also replaced the cable. I tried both the Toshiba and Sony forums, but had no response, thought I would ask here.
The only output on the laptop is VGA, I have that plugged into the PC in port on the TV.
