It looks like a good sub, unlike many of the subs available from B+M retailers, however I don't think it is competitively priced against some of the ID subs available. If you can get a nice discount on it, I think it would definitely be worth considering.

I can get it with the AMP for the same price as a SVS PB12-Plus.

The PB12-Plus will certainly be able to dig deeper. I don't know if it can match the output of the KW above the mid 20s though. That would be worth looking into. Unless the KW has a substantially greater amount of headroom in its range, I would be more inclined to go for the PB12 Plus. You might also give the Rythmik FV15 a look, its in the same price range.

I would probably get the PB12 Plus. Its a proven performer and is bullet proof in its quality and performance. Klipsch is a great company and nothing against them but for subwoofers I would look else where.

There aren't sufficient metrics to make am apples to apples comparison (distortion, long term compression, etc. missing on the Klipsch), but the SVS does just as good if not better than the Klipsch.

SVS PB12-Plus DSP Subwoofer Measurements and Analysis — Reviews and News from Audioholics

I'd go with the SVS for the DSP. Accuracy and ease of setup will be my clincher argument.
