Krell Interconnects

I recently inherited a complete sound system less all cables. Components are Thiel 7.2 speakers, KSA250S amp, KAV300D CD Player, KRC-hr Pre-amp. I have read enough about wasting money on cables and would like go to something like Blue Jeans, but I am a little confused on discussion regarding the proprietary Krell connectors? Does Krell use special connectors or do standard ones from Blue Jeans work? Thanks with any help.

No you don't need to buy Krell cables.www.monoprice.com is the best and cheapest route to go for interconnects....That is another "snake oil" claim..

XLR jacks have three holes. RCA jacks have one hole. Either will work fine but get the same on both sides.

Depending on your configuration Krell amps have XLR and 1/4 inch inputs as well as some have RCA as well. Most of your components have RCA inputs and outputs and I think they have XLR as well? You need to figure out your preamp inputs and outputs and then you can order your cables.Do you not know how to hook them up?

A very nice system.

Just in case you didn't also get the owner's manuals, you can download the manuals for the KSA-250, the KRC-HR, and the KAV-300CD from Krell at the links provided.

The amp, pre-amp, and CD player all have both RCA and XLR connectors. You could either type of connection.

Balanced xlr cables from monoprice are a great value and are well made.
