Knight Rider Keeps Driving

Whew! And here I thought I was only going to see Ford marketing every once in a while. Now they have a whole SHOW dedicated to them. I'd rather gouge my eyes out with spoons than watch one more minute of that garbage.

The funniest part is that they are bringing it back after "high ratings". Yeah right. During the height of the strike with absolutely nothing on TV. Let's see how it does when it actually has competition.

If this makes it on the air longer than 4 shows I'll be shocked. If it makes it more than 11 (the length of the Firefly run) I honestly may have to think about killing myself. It's bad enough that there are people out there watching all that "reality" garbage, if they'll watch this crap, I'm going to produce a show that is nothing but pictures of cute kittens with bad voice-over by Bob Sagat. It'll be called I CAN HAS MONEY. I'll be RICH!

They should bring back The Hoff in a latex suit driving a Smart car, I can write a TV play just with this premise. After that I'll follow Tom and commit seppuku with a butter knife.

Having KITT be a Mustang is like making the General Lee a Toyota. It just ain't right.

Cheers,

Just to spite you guys, I'm gonna Tivo the show!!!

Seriously though, as a Mustang guy, I LOVE seeing the Shelby on TV. Hopefully, they'll trim down on the plots and devote more air time to just showing the car driving around.

I was just watching Knight Rider (the one with his royal Hoffness in it). Man, that show is awful, bad acting, bad story, bad clothes, bad hair, basically it all comes together and ends being just bas @ss. Gotta love the re-run channel. Now if I can just get a watch that will let me talk with my HT while stomping bad guys...

Wow, this remake seems to be one bad show. I watched the pilot a couple of months ago, and it wasn't horrible. Not great, but not horrible. However, I saw about a minute of it last week and...uggg. I'm taking a break from Supernatural and this is on, and...wow. Just bad.

I happen to really like the first one back in the day, but I was pretty young at the time - and a supercharged intelligent car was pretty cool. Two decades can really change things. :)

I remember the first remake, Team Knight Rider. Wow. What a piece of sh*t. I had some small glimmer of hope that they would bring back KARR, whom would kill of every single one of the new team, literally, and then Michael Knight and KITT would be somehow brought back to deal with it. Far fetched. Yeah. But I hate seeing my memories of old awesome shows butchered in modern day. Perhaps the only improvement I have ever seen in resurrecting an old show was Battlestar Gallactica.

Reminds me of "Tim and Eric Awesome Show Great Job." It's hard to sit through an entire episode, haha.

Where's KITT and the Hoff when I need them? Uggg. The neighbor's daughter is out front of my house with some of her loud friends right now, laughing and talking (well, yelling would be a better term). Luckily, this is not usual, but it sure is annoying when it happens. Yes, yes...I could grow a backbone and walk out there in the middle of the night to confront some almost-surely drunk twenty-year-olds, but I'm a bit groggy for that.

Just go out there in your boxers next time, with your five o'clock shadow still intact, and an open can of beer in your hand, and try to get into the conversation they're having. They'll actually leave skid marks from running out of there so fast!
