Question, has anyone had the opportunity to audition these? I am curious to hear from other Klipsch owners as to the sound. For now no local retailer has them in stock.

Check the wisconson gtg in the steam vent, I think Dr. Payne has a pair.

We had a chance to audition these at the Klipsch pilgrimage in June. They were set up in a 5.1 demo room. I listened to both music and movies and felt they were very clean with crisp bass response. They also are finished in furniture grade wood veneers and have a high WAF. I understood that they would be available by now at Best Buy Magnolia stores.

Thanks so far, it seems as though Dr. Payne has the Palladium as opposed to the lesser WF-35, I guess I have to wait for Best Buy to stock up. Then I can hear if they are as harsh or fatiguing as the RF series.

I have listened to these speakers quite a bit since we received them at my Magnolia store and I do enjoy them quite a bit. I'm no golden ear guy and am usually a fan of klipsch speakers. I A/B/C'd them with a pair of Klispsch RF-82's and a pair of Vienna Acoustics Mozart grands. Of course they didn't come close to the great sound put out by the VAs but I wouldn't really expect that from a speaker that cost half as much anyways. Compared to the RF-82's they didn't have quite the bass extension but seemed a lot clearer in the mid- and upper mid-range. I listened to several different recordings that we demo all the time and it was a pretty consistent reaction from all of my associates that the WF-35's outperformed the 82's with just about any kind of music we put it. All in all I'm pretty impressed with them for being a lot more asthetically pleasing than the 82's but not compromising quality. Hope that helps a bit.
