JBL vs. Klipsch

I don't have too much knowledge of JBL. But my home theatre speakers are the Klipsch reference line. I have the RC-64for my centre(amazing sound from this flagship centre I paid $1500.00 for it) My fronts are the RF-63 sweet sound and matching surround and surround backs. However I went with 2 Polk audio PSW-1000 subs. I love my Klipsch speakers. Sounds like you did a good upgrade. Let me know how you like your sub. Thanks.

Thanks. its just that u dont get much reviews on the jbl's; and it would help to know what others think.

The best bet, IMO, would be to audition those Klipsch home If possible) and compare them side by side. IOH, you won't find many reviews/comments on JBL's here. Anyway, both are good & reliable brands though.

klipsch is rather much different sounding compared to infinities. i own both. you should go audition first.

I've owned JBL for many (MANY...I'm old, lol), and find the consumer models to always be a great value and provide a dynamic, yet neutral sound. (Of course you could always spend a hundred grand on a JBL Everest system.) The new JBL Studio L series is getting quite nice reviews all over the a/v community, and pricing is delicious.

I've hated every Klipsch I've ever heard except the RF63's! They use a new system of drivers that don't sound like daggers in your ears. I really liked the RF63's.

But as others have pointed out....you need to audition for yourself! Good hunting.

I’ve seen pictures of the JBL Everest over at the Lansing heritage site, and they do look grand and cost a few grand as well.:p

In any comparison between Klipsch and another brand, I will always choose the other brand unless it's Bose.
