Klipsch speakers...RF-83 & RF-63 in particular.

For mostly HT as opposed to 2 channel. Approx. a 70/30 split. Any thoughts or comments on Klipsch sound. I know they have a reputation as bright with their horn design, but from what I've recently read that doesn't hold up any more. With new design & technology the reviews are equally superb with both HT & two channel listening. Any first hand listening experience? I have to get my ears on them to hear for myself.

I think I have the RF62's, when we have parties we normally play them LOUD, and they handle it very well. If you can get them cheap then you should pick some up.

I've done a fair amount of movie watching with a pair of 82's. They are very good for movies. I personally don't care for music on them. This is just my personal taste. I am in no way saying they are bad speakers! I do find them a little harsh. By all means, give them a listen and form your own opinion. If you like them, that's all that counts.

I've only heard these briefly, but the 63's seemed a little bit more precise.. and the 82's sounded a bit bigger but not as refined. If mostly for movies, I'd go with the 82's.
