Hi. I basically settled on the RP-8060FA (2x) and RP-504C for my LCR in a 5.1.2 Atmos setup, in a small room where the couch directly sits at the rear wall. I was almost certain I was going for the RP-502S since I am coming from RS-52 II.

I know Dolby recommends direct/monopole speakers and says no to dipole (making bipole speakers acceptable?)

This made me now consider the RP-500M as my surrounds as this is what dolby would recommend.

I prefer the looks of the 502S. I also wonder if the 500m will be to obvious sitting close but slightly above ear level.

What should I go with 502S or 500M for my surrounds? And why? Would 502S be bad in an Atmos setup?
