was looking at emotiva bassx8 sub but ive heard this one at frys demo room and it rumbles good with music.

ill be using it with some cheap amp like a lepai. hoping it has the inputs on the back where i can connect the speaker wires from the amp to the sub, and then the sub to the l/r speakers

At that price point, I would go for this thing if you have room for it. It also has high-level inputs and outputs if you need those.

It does not have speaker level I/Os. In fact it has no inputs at all. Strictly BT of WiFi unless you get the optional control center.

At least that's what I see from the manual and photos.
