Ok guys, i just upgraded my receiver to the denon 2808, now i am going for my fronts, currently i have the klipsch synergy f-3's, i want to get something with better sound quality even if it does not have the same bass response as the f-3's since my subwoofer(klipsch rw-10) will be taking care of that, i been thinking on the klipsch rb-61's or the rvx-54's the reason of why i am considering only klipsch is because my center chanel is the rc-52 and i want to match it's timbre, is any body familiar with any of this two options?, or have you ever auditioned any of those(rb-61 or rvx-54)?
if you have auditioned both or you know something about this speakers wich one do you consider to be better for music? i am looking for the cleanest reproduction of sound posible from any of this two.
The rvx-54 are $399 each
and the rb-61 $300 pair, both at vanns.com
Thank you for your help

I think your best bet is to find a local Klipsch dealer, listen to both, and go from there. In the absence of that, I'd lean towards the RB-61's, for a few reasons:
a) They are the match to your RC-52.
b) The RVX-54's are more "life style" speakers - you are paying extra for smaller & slimmer .
c) You could use the price difference to add another sub to your system.

btw, my front 3 are RB-61's and an RB-52. I'm very happy with them.

I would suggest some demo-ing. If your upgrading, make sure its not a latteral move.

But do you think there will be a sound improvement from the f-3's?

my local ealer do not carry them, there is one that does carry them, but thats a place where they are focused into make the sistems look nice and clean in your livig room, so they place the rvx inside a cabinet and i dont thing that is ther best location for sound reproduction.
Any of those two speakesr should have better and cleaner mids and highs than the f-3 right?, i do music the most.

its really up to your ears;) imo yes, but if it was money dollar, id look further into the line. Id also prefer to run dual subs with bookshelves if possible.

the problem of looking further into the line is that those will be out of my budget, the only ony that i can cosider will be the rf-52, do you think this will be better thant the rvx event that there is only 2 wooffers and the rvx has 4?

No matter where you live in US, shouldn,t be too far from Best Buy, BB has discontinued carrying reference series, they are getting rid of thier existing stock at great deals.......i got my RF-62's at 250 each......i could have got the display models at 20% cheaper.....

i am running RF-62 and RC-52 in the front and RS-42 for surrounds along with Velodyne SPL-1200R.....i couldnt be happier with my set up.......they look great too----especially with thier grills off....

try calling BB's in you area and surrounding locations.
