bluejeancables.com or monoprice.com no need to spend a lot of money and you can't really pair speakers and wire its just pointless. Wire gauge just depends on run length.

You can also just buy cable at a store near you, like Radio Shack. OFC wire is OFC wire. No need to spend a lot of money on it.

Ideally just run the raw wire into the receiver and speakers, if you are not comfortable with that than use spades or bannanas it doesn't really matter as long as you have a good quality connection between metal.

I might get some flak from the more knowledgeable people here, but in terms of connectors, I say just go with what's the most convenient for you. Connectors add another resistance in the electrical chain, so just be sure to connect them properly. I personally like banana plugs because they make connecting the wire to both the speakers and to my receiver much easier.

Edit: avaserfi is quick on the draw...beat me to it by a hair!

I have these in my homeoffice. The speakers' connectors are just spring clip connectors and any 16-18ga wire should work just fine. You don't need anything special. BTW: The wall mounts are still available driectly from Klipsch. They make for a nice clean surround install.

ya i was wondering about wall mounts, i think that will be the only way to place the rear speakers. the rears are suppose to be to the left and right of me? not behind?

Lowes sells speaker wire cheap by the foot. I bought 12awg wire for about 35-40cents/ft. ......16awg wire is a lot less....

As for connectors......... it can be pretty tedious connecting speaker wire of any thickness to some receivers because of shielding around the binding posts. It seems that all many receivers give you is a small gap in the shield to cram the wire into and it's difficult to wrap the wire nicely around the post:( For that reason, I use banana plugs in the back of the receiver because 'jacking in' is much easier and a good connection is assured. I connect bare wires at speaker end.

Thats exactly what I did. When I got my speaker wire and looked at the speaker connections on my receiver I almost instantly went out to pick up banana plugs. There was no way I was fitting my finger in the area and managing to thread all that wire in those tiny wholes. Thats why I said ideally in my previous post ;).

i would be getting the wire from monoprice but i just ordered the speakers yesterday and they will be here in 2 days... so i dont really want to wait another 2+ days after that for my wires to come in. and if i were to to 1-2day shipping, it would bring the price up and over the price if i were to buy it at a store..
