A few months ago my sub stopped working for my 5.1 ultras. I checked out the fuse and it was good...took it to Radio Shack to test...when I turn on my speakers I hear just a click. I unplugged it overnight and plugg it back in, but still just a click...the headphones work fine with the vol. control..I called Klipsch and I hate I'm not under warranty...it expired a month before my sub died...they said if I just send the amp it'll be 60 bucks and I'd prob. have to ship it with FedEx for prob. 5.95 since it didn't weigh much. After reading on the forums about people who have the same prob. many times I kinda don't want to send the amp to get fixed if it takes too long to get back or if I get it back and it dies again and I have to pay another 60 bucks to fix it....the speakers work fine and is there another 5.1 sub that someone could recommend that would be compatible? I have Googled for PC subs, but no luck.

What is the speaker's impedance rating? Maybe you can get just another amp, bypass the built in one.
