Klipsch iFi 2.1 system

The best 2.1 computer speaker system I have ever heard, better than any Logitechs, any Bose, any Apple, any Altec Lansing, and the iFi is even better than Klipsch's older Promedia 2.1 system.

Frankly this 2.1 system beats many shelf systems consisting of just 2 bookshelf speakers.

Those are my favs. Bought them in 1998 and they will find a home, probably in the garage to fill out the rest of their life. I think I paid $149 back then, still the best PC system I have ever heard.

Wow, talk about coincidences! I had the exact same system back when I was in college.

You are right, they were the best 2.1 setup I had heard back in the old days. No doubt about it.

After owning them for a couple of years, I sold them for $30. I still regret selling them.

But there are some downsides to those early computer speakers. The cones were made of paper, they used foam surrounds. Those foam surrounds will need to be replaced after a couple of years.

Im still using mine, I guess because they have never really been exposed to sunlight and whatnot, but no issues whatsoever.
